Periodic Driver CPC Training
Professional drivers must complete 35 hours of periodic Driver CPC every 5 years to keep their Driver Qualification Card (DQC) valid. Training is usually delivered in 7-hour sessions (or new 3.5-hour blocks for UK-only drivers from 2025) covering key topics such as drivers’ hours, tachographs, vehicle safety, and road safety.

International CPC follows the traditional 35 hours in 7-hour blocks, while the new National CPC offers shorter sessions and more flexible e-learning for UK-only drivers.

Driving without a valid Driver CPC can result in fines of up to £1,000, and not carrying your DQC can lead to a £50 penalty.
